Elvie Burton, B.Sc., P.Biol., R.P.Bio., CCEP Elvie Burton holds a B.Sc. in Ecology and is a member of the Alberta Society of Professional Biologists and is a Canadian Certified Environmental Practitioner. She has experience in a full range of consulting services in the environmental industry, from baseline studies and initial approvals to reclamation, remediation and attainment of the final reclamation certificate. She has experience in a wide range of projects from Phase I, II and III ’s to environmental monitoring and hazardous material assessments. Elvie has worked extensively managing and directing multidisciplinary projects. [email protected] Kim Harvey, B.Sc., P.Chem. Kim has been in the environmental field since 2001. She has completed numerous Phase I, II and III environmental assessments and compliance audits for commercial and industrial sites. Kim has valuable experience with research, data collection, project management and co-ordination, regulatory contact, client liaising, air photo interpretation, and compliance with government regulations. [email protected] Nicole Brooks, B.Sc. Nicole has conducted hundreds of Phase I, II & III Environmental Site assessments. She was in charge of the Alberta Municipal Affairs/Safety Codes Council Storage Tank program in and around Calgary, Edmonton and northwestern Alberta. Her skill set includes assessment, bid preparation, drilling and if necessary, site remediation (including several storage tank removals) and report writing and site closure (with Alberta Environment approval). Additionally, she has managed Groundwater evaluation surveys, hazardous materials surveys and air monitoring. She has been an editor and proofreader, an inputter, an outputter and everything in between. Karen is responsible for QA/QC of all Ballast ’s reports. [email protected] Kelly Reinson Kelly has more than 10 years of experience with supervision of contaminated soil excavations and removal of underground storage tanks. He is a certified underground storage tank remover through the Petroleum Tank Management Association of Alberta. Kelly also has over 10 years experience dealing with hazardous materials, from the initial assessment phase to the removal.
