The Ontario PGA recently announced the nominees for their Yearly Awards. Both Director of Instruction David Banks and Sr. Teaching Professional Doug Lawrie were on the nomination list! David has been selected as one of the finalists for the Ontario PGA Teacher of the Year Award which will be presented on October 27, 2010. The Ontario PGA is the largest section in the Canadian Professional Golfers Association (CPGA) with over 1500 members. These awards are handed out every year and cover a wide range of topics: Golf Professional of the Year, Merchandiser of the Year, Junior Golf Teacher of the Year and Teacher of the Year. To have one of our Professional staff nominated would be a great honor.
