Hosting players as part of summer baseball is a tradition as old as the game itself. It is a rewarding experience for both the players and families. The players give the house new life for the summer and if there are any up and coming baseball stars in the family, the players serve as virtual "live at home" coach! 1. The Bulls utilize collegiate ball players from across Canada and the USA to fulfill their desire to play. For the summer, these athletes become ambassadors for the Bulls & the City of Lethbridge. The players are required to treat your home, your family, and our community with the utmost respect. 2. The WMBL has a 46 game schedule from the Very end of May to the beginning weeks of August, meaning half the schedule is on the road & your player will be away almost half of each month. For home games, players are at the park from around 4pm to 11pm. 3. Your primary responsibility is to provide accommodation for the player. We also ask that you have food for the player available. We do not expect you to cater to the player but any assistance is appreciated. 4. The player is responsible for his own transportation. Any rides you may be able to provide yourself are sincerely appreciated but are at your discretion and by no means expected. 5. The Bulls appreciate the valuable services that you will be providing to our community, our club, and the player. For this, we will compensate you $600 for the 2 and S month season along with 2 season tickets.
