Production Management Canada, a leader in the conference management industry, has just announced their successful launch of DelaWARE ®, a real time delegate feedback and tracking software system. DelaWARE ®is a web based interactive application that allows conference delegates to get connected and stay connected throughout a conference using their own smart phone. Production Management Canada debuted the software at one of their client events recently. On August 28, 2010, the DelaWARE ® software was used for a GE Healthcare event in Charlevoix, Quebec. Three DelaWARE ® modules were utilized for the GE Healthcare event. DelaWARE ® Score allowed GE Healthcare to conduct a health challenge where each team received points for individual challenges. Points were tallied in real time in order to determine the winner. A common issue faced by many event organizers is the unwillingness of participants to ask questions during Q&A sessions. DelaWARE ® Q&A solved this issue by allowing participants to post questions by text both before and during the session. DelaWARE ® Blogger was used so that employees could post their ideas in real time to a page that everyone could view. On the last day of the conference, the best ideas were chosen by the managers and the event participants were able to vote for their favourite idea using their smart phone.
