We filed a claim with this company for a cracked cultured marble tub that has leaked. we had tenets for the last 2 years and were unaware of the problem until they were gone. we have been give 4 different reasons (excuses) for not covering this.#1 we did not have renters insurance. But when they checked they found that we did have it. #2 it was a fragile, brittle article.#3 the house was settling, bulging and cracking. I would like to add that our house is 25 years old. A house settles within the first few years and not all of a sudden 23 to 25 years later, the house is also on a cement slab.#4 the water damage was not covered. We never once ever asked for the floor to be done as my husband is a contractor and we figured we could do that much our selves. Our concern was the 6 foot custom tub. The rep said she was coming out to our house with a restoration company which she did not bring. This I questioned at the time of the appointment. I had a feeling at that point they had made up their mind already about not covering this before even seeing it. There has not been any answers the same at all. I will not give up on this as I know the damage should be covered, We pay a lot of money every year for the motto of theirs. WE HELP PROTECTWHAT IS IMPORTANT TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY. right!!!
