I also got one of these winning letters with a check that totally looked real

I got a letter with a check for $4980. The checke totally looks real. I called the number in the letter and the lady who answered told me to take the check to my bank and deposit it an d then call her back. She also said something about the money for paying the taxe on the winnings (didn't catch it all) When I told her I was finding this rather hard to beleive she assured me it was totally real and legit.

When I tried to stop her to ask her questions she just plowed through her little speech like she was reading it off of a card, would not let me speak or ask anything. Sounde like to me that did not want to be tripped up in anyway. This was a RED Flag for me! Sounds too good to be true - it probable is! Good saying to live by. Never deposited my check, because I found it too hard to belive.
