Last summer we followed all the directions on the product and also from the employees of Home Depot to put Behr stain onto our new deck. This spring the snow melted and we were left with a terrible mess. The whole deck had peeled and is now all blotchy. The only way to fix this is to sand all of the deck and start over with a different stain. We do not look forward to having to do more work than we had to last year to get our deck ready for the season. We are not impressed at all with BEHR and were told by Home Depot to contact the company. I thought that Home Depot would stand a little stronger behind their product and try to compansate us for the hassle... after all they are the ones who recommended the product.
