REBAR DSD REBAR DSD is NOT as Advertised

The REBAR DSD as advertised on LockBar.com & Kickproof.com, is not as advertised. 1st Hint: The Video they show 'introducing' their Product, clearly shows the individual taking a 2-3 step 'start' to kick the door in, then of course towards the end of the video, all you see is a 'BENT' leg, no full on assault like action, that took the door out initially (but lots of huffing and puffing). Then as the camera pans back, you notice that the 'kick' on the door is more of a heel-to-toe 'lean'. And the full body 'slams'? PUHLEEZ!!!

So, working with a Big Box Hardware Store, we installed their item on a Door already set up in the Store, with an 'IDENTICAL' Door, and setup (without their item installed), right next to it. Both of them installed into a Jamb & Wall...

Admittedly the 1st door 'failed' as advertised... BUT, we 'kicked' the 2nd door and heard it crack, so we 'shouldered it one time, and the ONLY difference between the 2 failures, was their item took more debris with it when it left.

It may work better if the Jamb was HEAVILY Reinforced, but, then the original 'might', as well...

AND, as far as the notation at the end of the video to "watch the glass on the windows shake"? That's just an indication of weak structure, not STRONGER Door Jamb.
