After buying a total of 3 prints from galerie concorde for a total of $7803.12 starting December 3, 1997 i started to realize the game this company was playing. Originally i dealt with a man named Mitchell Field who promised these prints would sell quickly. After years of back and forth conversations and nothing happening i phone gallerie concorde and spoke with Mitchell. He informed me on May 2, 2003 my 3 prints were now $10, 200. On August 18, 2004 Nigel Goddard phoned to say Mitchell Field no longer worked for them and they were "having problems with this employee." During this conversation he also stated by 3 pieces were now $23, 825. That was the last conversation with galerie concorde as these were obviously random conversations to string all of us along in there scam.
In August of 2006 i filed a complaint with the better business bureau and Ms. Marina Villarroel file P-6552. Galerie Concorde came back with an offer of a full refund "against a trade of any other artwork in their inventory." They must be crazy to think i would want to consider continuation of this awful relationship. Galerie Concorde denied what they are doing is fraud, however i feel this is exactly what they are doing.
