Galerie Concorde ripoff art investment

I, too, have been sold art pieces by Galerie Concorde and been told that they were to be held for a short period of time and then put on the market. That was back in Oct 2001 and again in Dec 2002.

The 1st piece, ($675) I was told, was "being sold" at the time of the purchase of the 2nd piece ($725). This never occured and to this date, 7/25/2008, I have not heard from them.

I do not believe they ever had intentions of selling anything I bought, only leading me on to buy something even more expensive. I had the piece evaluated by an art dealer a few years back and he said I would be lucky to get what I paid for them if I sold them on the open market.
