AG Van Lines - Calgary
Move took 3x longer and cost 2x more than quoted!

It took three guys over 10 hours to move a small condo. They stood around, and disappeared often. At midnight, although the move was not yet finished, they demanded payment of double what they quoted.

A.) It was double the quoted price, B) They weren't done, and were leaving with the furniture, C) There was no reason it should have taken that long to begin with. (They only had one dolly.) All night, the owner (or contact person) called and used profane and vulgar language, demanding full payment. Finally we agreed to pay them (not quite double, but close enough, ) and the following evening, they returned with the remainder of the furniture. It was filthy. The mattress was ripped, and one table was damaged beyond repair. This was an absolute nightmare, and the harassing phone calls made a stressful experience downright scary. Never use this company to move. The phone number they provide does not actually work for them, and we can't actually tell if they are the same company as AG Van Lines LTD, who are registered with the Better Business Bureau, or if they are just using a similar name.
