I hired A 1 moving by telephone- They quoted me an hourly rate for 2 guys and a truck and approximate time it would take to complete a move of my size. They showed up and immediately requested a minimum payment on my credit card which they immediately called in and got a confirmation number. When the move was not completed in the quoted time they told me the hourly rate has now gone up-significantly. If I didn't like it, too bad. They demanded my credit card again. I was stuck and they knew it. The move had to be completed that day. 3 more times throughout the day they asked for my creditcard and continued to apply charges. They had me hostage and there was not a thing I could do about it. This company is brutal! They are a complete ripoff.
