Ripping Off Customers at the Pump

I pulled into the Crevier Gas station #3756 located at 2430 Rue Dollard in LaSalle, run by company 9141-9036 Quebec Inc. The gas was the cheapest there tonight, Nov 8, 2008 listed at $92.4. When I pulled up to the gas tanks, it stated a price of $94.4. So I went inside and told the manager or owner there about the discrepancy. He proceeded to laugh at me but changed the price at the pump to reflect the listed price of $92.4.

An hour later, while sitting enjoying a cup of coffee, my wife for some reason pulled out the gas bill. She immediately noticed that regardless of the fact that the person at the Crevier had changed the price at the pump, we were charged 97.4/liter. I took out the calculator on my phone and did the math because I figured I had to be wrong- He changed the price at the pump. Sure enough, as you can see by my bill attached, I bought 20.6 liters. At 97.4 this amounts to the $20.02 I was charged. At the price of 92.4, the total should have been $19.03. I was ripped off by $1.

Now trust me, it is not the $1 I am angry about, but the fact that he laughed at me, changed the pump price in front of me yet somehow still ripped me off. So I went back to the Crevier and told him that he made a mistake. He of course ridiculed me, told me I was wrong, even though I showed him the math on the calculator... at which point he told me to get the hell out of his store.

Now, I noticed this really by fluke and am curios to see how many other people he has ripped off... there were 4 people alone when I was filling up and I am sure no one noticed they were being overcharged.

So please do not fill up gas there since you will be getting ripped off and even if you advise them of this, all they will do is deny it and laugh at you. I am sure these guys are all enjoying the pretty penny they are making off all of us at a time when everybody needs every dollar they make.
