Folks,

Whatever you do, don't buy anything from Twilight Hot Tubs and Billiards in Victoria - they refuse to honour their warranties.

I purchased a $200.00 ozonator from this company and was told it had a two year warranty, but within the year the product broke. I contacted the comapny and was first told, they would replace it but I would have to pay the $55 service fee. Twilight hot tubs then called back and told me avoid the service fee, simply cut out the wiring and bring it into the shop and they would exchange it there no problem.

When I got to the store, some asshole with a grade two education named Darryl told me that despite what I was told not even 30 minutes earlier they would not honour their warranty - I had bought an "over the counter product that only comes with a 90 day guarantee, only an ozonator installed with a bran new hot tub came with a two year warranty". This was the first I had heard of this and because the service techician hadn't wrote the two year warranty guarantee down on the bill, and I was stuck.

I contacted the Victoria Better Business Bureau to advise them of this scam, but they were no help. I am still considering my legal options and may take these crooks to Small Claims court. I'm telling everyone I know about their bad business practices.

Again, don't buy from Twilight Hot Tubs. Trust me - if anything goes wrong, despite what they promise you are own your own!
