EasyPc
EasyPc pushed on senior citizen

Telecommunications

My MotherInLaw, a senior, called Telus asking how she could reduce her long distance. They told her she should use email with an EasyPC plan, and signed her up.

She has no clue to how to use a computer. Moreso, it keeps breaking down, and as a non english speaker she has a lot of trouble with the tech support.

They sold something useless to someone who couldn't use it. This is a prime example of taking advantage of seniors.
