, Cartier Outfitters ripoff bear hunting outfitters, story is their guides quit, deposits never returned

Myself and five fellow hunters each sent a deposit of 300.00 each to this company (Auberge Cartier). We were supposed to be setting up a guided hunt for black bear in Quebec.

At some point and time, one member of our qroup was contacted and informed that this company would not be able to provide us with the services they had offered. All of the outfitters guides had quit, or so they informed us.

We were also instructed that we would be receiving our deposit back from this company. This has yet to occur. Meanwhile, they are still operating their website and offering their services to others. Attempts at contacting them yield an answering machine.

Six of us had sent up three hundred dollars each as deposit on this hunt. At this point, it appears that this company is simply offering a website to rip off potential customers. The purpose of filing this report is simply to prevent other individuals from falling victim to this company.
