Deposit of paid timeshare week

In January of 2010 the maintenance fee for 2010 was paid to Solmar. I then called RCI and deposited this week with them in order to use this week to trade for a week at some other resort. There was no further communication from Solmar or RCI. In November of 2010 I checked RCI to see that my deposit was there and it was not. RCI told me that Solmar had refused the deposit. I contacted Solmar for an explanation and was told (for the very first time) that my Solmar time needed to be deposited through Solmar. This is contrary to everything I had been told about making deposits. At this point Solmar is refusing to deposit a week for me with RCI because my week for 2010 has expired, which is true. My time is from week 15 through week 45. My point is that Solmar did not explain their unusual deposit procedure and did not notify me when my attempt to deposit through RCI came across their desk. They failed to provide the service they claim to take responsibility for, namely making client's deposits with RCI and as such need to deposit a week in my name with RCI.
