Balsam Hill not fulfilling warranty service

Purchased top of the line ($$$) Christmas tree from Balsam Hill that has defective branch, contacted their customer service, and they send me a .49 cent washer and tell me to fix the problem myself; really? Tree is supposed to have 10 year warranty on foliage. Unacceptable that Balsam Hill refuses to properly warranty defective goods. Seriously re-think about purchasing merchandise from this supplier!
