Pyramid Scheme - Rip Off

Sapphire Skies is the furthest thing from Event Promotions i have ever seen or read about. In my first interview I was told that this company hosts events for such charities as Child Find and D.A.R.E. On my second interview i immediately learned that their definition of "event" meant standing at a store entrance and pretty much begging people to come over and by something for the cause.

Due to the fact that it was for a good cause i quickly became okay with the store front setup. It was shortly after when i found out that only 20% of sales went to the actual charity itself that i felt like a horrible person. Can anyone take a guess where the rest went? That's right, up the ladder to the top of the company where it slowly trickled down.

Sapphire Skies insists that you come into the office for 7:30am where practice pitching occurs as well as motivational speeches. It is around 9:30 where all the sales people head on out to there designated stores to sell $20 items that were bought for 20 cents. Who cares though right? it's for a good cause.

If your not the type of person to let that bother you that's understandable, we all look out for ourselves. But how can one justify working at a very poor commission rate, while the big boys upstairs are reaping all the benefits? It just doesn't make sense.

Anyways if you are thinking about going for an interview with this people think about it a little longer. Read up on the other reports that people have kindly put on this website. This company is a well thought out pyramid scheme that will one day break. They always do
