, Electician who charges $9000 an hour or more to unsuspecting customers

Ivan's electric came to my house when my power was out in one room. The electrician checked the meter on two wires and determined in 3 minutes that the problem was an outside line and the issue of my local energy provider. He then came in and gave me a bill for $477. I almost had a heart attach and when I asked him why it was so much he went on about it being after hours and he get's paid double time. He then told me it was my responsibility to ask the price before the work was done. I did ask the boss how much it would be and he told me he wouldn't know until the tech reported in. He never said anything to me until completion as he was well aware that no person in their right mind would pay that.

The local energy company came and I went outside to meet them and told them I had just paid the money and the tech asked me if it was Ivan's electric and I asked him how he knew and he proceeded to tell me about numerous other customers who had been milked by these guys as I had.

I decided to look them up on the net to see if their was any feedback to discover that this clown had spent 45 days in jail for tax evation for the 2nd time. A partern was quickly established that this company and it's owners are rip off artists in every sense of the words. PLEASE BEFORE YOU EVER CALL THESE PEOPLE CALL YOUR LOCAL ENERGY PROVIDER.

I don't understand how people like this can remain in business but if even 1 person doesn't use them based on the report then I have succeeded in outing these frauds. I have also reported them to the Better Business Bureau and my local city counsellor. Let's hope that these people get what is coming to them.
