Turnkey business opportunity ripoff

Another Victim of Essential Grocer (Edgebaston Group) in Toronto, Ontario.

There are at least 25 victims (in the US only, no Canadians). Each victim's story is identical (the timelines are within a few weeks of each other).

We all purchased a turnkey (vending) business opportunity for $29, 800.00 from this very slick group of individuals. The full package was not delivered--it was to include 15 coolers, 15 good--qualified accounts, software, product and support. Some squeaky wheels got oiled. Then the company started experiencing having financial problems. Some vicims got 1, 600.00 that bounced some did not get a check @ all.

In the last few months I have ascertained the following--
the 20 Bay Street office was "virtual", the 1370 Don Mills Road office is "virtual". All the phone numbers the victims have are machines. I have been in touch with their bank and their landlord. Each will coperate w/ the authorities.

If you are a vitim I strongly urge you to do the following:

Add to File # A2166 that I began on 3/30/06 w/ the Canadian Revenue Service (Canada's equivolent to our IRS), they are beginning an investigation for Tax Fraud. The phone # is 866/809-6841, speak w/ Jen--no last name.
My CPA suggested this action.

Add to file #1538965 with the Toronto Fraud Squad--Det.
