Dishonest slick deceiving Ripoff

I received an email from Christine Whitman of Mainland Careers a few weeks ago asking for the latest copy of my Resume. Mainland would forward my Resume to the approprite branch office. They said that they would call me if "they felt they could help me".

A week later I got a call from the receptionist at RD Group requesting that I come down for an interview at their office. I went down and was interviewed by Richard Bastasich, who was dressed in a very expensive suit. He asked about my personal and employment history and we had a reasonable discussion by my account.

Then he made the comment that I was very bright and was an "underacheiver" and could be doing much better. He said that I could and should be at an Executive level position earning 6 figures and that a company would probably pay for me to get an MBA while on the job. He then asked that my wife come down with me for a second interview. At first I thought this was a little strange and I told him that my wife would be supportive of me in my job search. He insisted that my wife come down in person to meet him, and so we scheduled a second meeting between Richard, my wife and me.

That night we searched the web for information on this company and found accounts from several people of lying, deceit, and one person who had to pay RD Group $ 5, 500 as part of the deal!! After reading this, I no longer trusted this company.

I promptly cancelled my second meeting with RD Group and do not pklan to do business with them again.
