Pac-Man Movers
Lose your belongings and won't let you file a claim with their insurance company. Mistreated and ripped off in

I hired Pac-Man movers to move my belonging from my apartment to a new address. They arrived 25 minutes late. They then "lost" my computer, television and several other items when moving them from my apartment to their truck.

I contacted the owner of the company two hours after the movers delievered my belongings to the new address, as I realized several items were missing. The dispatcher said she would contact the movers and call me back. I didn't hear anything for several hours.

I called Pac Man movers back at 9 pm that evening. She had so much attitude on the telephone, and once again said she would call the movers. My boyfriend then called to ask what the procedure was if items were missing. Bonnie (the dispatcher) again gave him attitude on the telephone and told him to 'bite her ass'. Excellent customer service, Bonnie!

I was told two days later that one of the movers left them in the elevator of my building and didn't mention a word during the move. I was told this by the manager of the company, Gary Hippinsteel.

Gary told me that my old building manager had my belongings. I contacted the building manager who said he had heard nothing from Pac Man movers, and that nothing was turned in to him.

After several phone calls between the manager Gary Hippinsteel, which I might add, he screamed at me over the phone and hung up each time, he wouldn't give me an honest answer as to if I could file a claim for my missing things. I again called him on Thursday, to ask if I could file a claim, as the items were not found at my old building. At this time he lost his mind on the telephone, screaming obsenities, and told me that I could never prove anything in court and that I was full of shit. I would like to add that I had never mentioned taking him to court.

I filed a report with the Better Business Bureau. They indicated that they have had numerous complaints about this company.
