My wife called this moving company located in the renters news. She had done all the talking and the price was $114 5% GST which would have been no more than $160 for 3 hours. (Suspicious or not) the truck said LMS movers I guess they thought they were dealing with just a vulnarable woman cause when they came they were shocked that me and my buddy had already moved the stuff down to where the truck would be and they'd seen that it wouldn't be more than an hours work at this time they had tried to raise the price to $240 5% GST for 2 hours. They also tried to charge us for lifting anything over 60 pounds and tried to charge us an additional $60 for stairs they'd have to climb at which point i tried to call the head boss whom my wife had been dealing with prior to the move and it turns out that the number I was calling which is 416-994-4694 I wasn't getting an answer the 2 guys were returning to the truck walking down the hallway, I kept calling and then I heard his phone ringing and when the guys were out of sight, that's when he answered the phone and was acting very unscrupulous and very unprofessional and started using curse words so I hung up the phone and went downstairs to see if i could talk to these movers but when they seen I wasn't giving in on their scam, so they had left without warning. Then I proceded to my buddy's house where he called ABS MOVERS 416-588-1499 and this company had low rate on 2 hours notice and the movers were very professional. All in all CMS MOVERS or LMS MOVERS whatever they are called.. Are just CONARTISTS and UNPROFESSIONAL. So to anybody reading my blog, I hope you take what I have told you into consideration and DO NOT CALL OR IF YOU'VE CALLED ALREADY CANCEL AND CALL ABS MOVERS.
