Scam, Fake

Often CMTC aka Canadian Model & Talent Convention; Canadian Model and Talent Convention; Mode Elle, Modelle, Audra Anderson --- any name or person associated with CMTC are a fraud. This group goes to different cities and provinces promoting their modelling and talent show. So many mom's get duped into paying $1, 200.00 by a certain deadline thinking their child will "get accepted" and allowed to go to their big modelling and talent show in the hopes of being discovered. THIS IS A SCAM. THINK ABOUT IT WHY does CMTC and its affiliates have several different business names? It gets confusing trying to figure out if CMTC is one in the same company as Canadian Modelling & Talent Convention.

Audra Anderson does a great job convincing guests that she is the one who will make all your dreams come true. She wants you to fall for her crap so she can swindle money out of you. There is nothing this woman can do, except parade on the stage to make herself feel good. Well don't fall for her tricks.

You will get a bundle of typed documentation from her; and she will stress the importance that you meet her deadline; all so she can take your money. Her documentation never contains the "cooling off period", or the ten (10) days by law that she is required to give you in case you change your mind and do not want to go to her stupid convention.

And by the way, this convention does not have agents coming from all over the world. The agents are people like you and me, people in the industry. She doesn't even pay these people; she feeds them dinner at the convention you signed up for.

If you really want to break into acting, modelling, tv, film, etc. never enter into an agreement, never give your credit card number to any one because you will loose all your money, and there is a fat chance you will never see it again.

Check out the ACTRA website for Canada, Toronto, Ontario. It tells you that all you need to do is view their list of agents, then you send a letter to one of their agents and a school photo of your child. You don't need professional photos at this time. ACTRA will not tell you to go to classes, pay money to take a course or anything else involving monies. Find an agent through Actra, send a letter, tell them you want to act and they will audition you for projects that will fit you. This is the right way to see if you have what it takes. Just don't fall for the crap from this woman, this woman who lives in Belleville, Ontario. She is a complete monster taking money from hard working individuals. She should be put to shame in front of all those she has duped.

I just wish the next time this company comes to Toronto, there will be people there from Consumer Affairs and jail these bastards. That is what is needed.
