The Canadian Model & Talent Convention is the BIGGEST RIP-OFF in the Talent Industry. Most reputable talent agencies do NOT advertise nor solicit talent-this we have found out the hard way as we were told that in order to get noticed, you have to attend this $2, 000 convention whereby talent agents from all over the world fly in to view talent. For one thing, these agents are paid to come and get a free 4 day vacation-they have no interest in the talent.

PLUS the kicker-you have to put a deposit down MONTHS in advance and pay in full MONTHS in advance with no recourse in getting ANY refunds-this SCREAMS SCAM!!! The agents that attend this convention are NOT top reputable agents-they are SCAM agencies that charge you for acting classes, photo shoots etc, etc-the list goes on and on-I am thankful that my talented child has been steered in the right direction now by the top agent in Toronto, but unfortunately we MUST attend this convention as we have tried everything to get our money refunded-without success. I have NEVER known of any business that does not have a refund policy-SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!
