Fraud scam artist Thief do not ever do business with him

Michael Mcafferty resides in Calgary and owns couple of buildings DT calgary. He is known for not signing leases and not looking after the building.

I was a tenant in his building, when I left I forgot 2 bags and wanted them back from him, I politely requested him ti hand them over to my friend who would mail me back, but he insulted and threatened my friend who was in tears on her return.

He told me he will only give it back after I pay certain amount of money. It has my personal belongings nothing of material value to him. He also stole many items from my apartment such as my Television and cutlery and blamed it own breaking in!!!

HE ALSO ALWAYS CAME INSIDE THE APARTMENT UNANNOUNCED AND WOULD INSIST ON STAYING FOR DINNER AND WOULD OFTEN MAKE RACIAL COMMENTS TOWARDS ME!!! HE PLAYED VERY LOUD MUSIC WHICH WOULD GO ON TILL EARLY MORNINGS AND WHEN ASKED WOULD SAY ITS MY PLACE I WILL DO WHAT EVER I PLEASE.

It has been 3 years noW and he has made me suffer emotionally as every time I begged him for my belongings he said he needs the money to repair things in the apartment and unless I pay him he will NEVER return them and will throw them away if he doesnt get his way.

I am not sure what pleasure he is getting from someone's misery but I had begged him several times to return my items, even to an extent to tell him it has pictures of my dead grandparents and gifts from them which I really cherish.

He has made me go through torture for 3 years now, I highly suggest and plead to stay away from him and any of his business. I HOPE AND PRAY TO GOD HE GETS PAID FOR HIS HEARTLESS ACTS.

ANY LANDLORD WHO DOES NOT SIGN A LEASE IS COMMITING A FEDERAL CRIME... BEWARE OF MICHAEL
