I HAVE HAD HUNDREDS OF LETTERS ASKING FOR MONEY. I Have won this amount??? ONTARIO

I have had MANY letters from companies like this to include the above (This came today) 02.12.2004. Saying that I had won USD 10, 000!!! Requesting that I respond within 11 days or I they will give the money to someone else? I have had so many letters from companies like this (on a daily basis) if they were all true I would really be a RICH person.

When is this going to stop as this is becoming out of control.

I also have had emails from a company called TESCO FINANCE saying that I had won a very larger amount of money USD 780, 000!!!

All I had to do was return the information (personal data) via email to arrange delivery of my winnings. Which I did. They also had a telephone number on the email which I called (Amsterdam Mumber) I spoke to a man from Jamaica (English was very bad) saying that YES this was true I had won this amount of money and that I should wait for futher instructions VIA EMAIL!!

I received an email asking me to send 350 Euros via Western Union to process this. I responded via email saying that I would rather come to Amsterdam myself and pay that amount once I had met them and the money which I had won. I then received another email saying only to pay 75 Euros and the rest later. Since then I have looked on SCAM REPORTS and found this company listed as ' SCAM ' so I sent them another email asking for the address. Since then I have not heard anything. They have most likely moved on to some other poor person who will pay that amount.

There is nothing out there to report these people as I am sure many have tried. Authorities are just not interested enough to something about it??
