Customers ripped off, employee's treated poorly

I worked at bell symatico for approx 18 months, which at the time was outsourced to the durham contact center. 1st of all there is no "Bell Canada" anymore, everything is outsourced to India.

I noticed when someone calls in, the focus is not there technical issue, its SALES. "Bell" is huge on sales, the agents that dont sell, well pretty much there jobs are on the line.

So whats happening is if a product is mentioned to you even if you dont accept, its added to your account regardless. I've also seen far to many accounts "upgraded" to a higher speed, although the line cant handle it (just to get a sale), so in essence they getting more inconsistent and slower speeds.

Like all call centers, employees are treated like crap, you could be fired for little or no reason. Yes I got out, now I have a good job. If you do get someone in India you can ask to be transfered to canada! Its your right! Dont bother to ask for a supervisor at the india call center, they will setup a callback and you will never hear from anyone.
