Turning sour 5 days before expiry date

I buy Dairy Glen milk, which is carried by my main food store. The milk turns sour 80% of the time 2 to 5 days before its expiry date. Our fridge is new and keeps things cold. I find other milk also turns sour before the date stated - wonder what is happening to our Diary industry.
