Acaiberry Detox
Scammed me

While on the internet an advertising banner popped up with a free sample of the acaiberry detox, all I had to pay was shipping. They requested my credit card information and a signature on terms (a lengthy paper) I signed and paid the tiny fee, but never got the product. In addition I found a charge on my credit card approximately a month later for a fee of (121.00 american), 138.00 Canadian dollars. I had not received a single thing from this company nor did I authorize the company to take any more money from my credit card. When I called their 1-888-325-8623 number i was able to talk to a girl with a British accent who would not reverse the charges even though I received nothing! She wouldn't allow me to talk to a manager, saying she wasn't authorized to do so. She then hung up on me. I had also requested her name in full, which she would not give to me.

I called a second time and talked to Sylvia who would not reverse the charges even though I had not authorized any of the expenditures, nor had I receied anything from them. She referred me to the terms of conditions, would not let me talk to a manager and would not give me her last name.

This is a scam! I write this so that you do not request the free product, it will cost you 138 dollars plus shipping and handling and like me you may not even receive it. In addition I will have to change my credit card number because they have taken the liberty to steal my moneyonce and could do it again. When I spoke to the credit card company they would not help me either and said they could not reverse it.

I will recant onn this compaint when I get my money back but in the meanwhile hope that this will save some of the public their hard earned money.
