Paint peeling of stove

I purchased a kenmore stove, black in color, and I had it since july 2009 and I only use it 9 months a year as i go to our cabin for three. In saying this when i was cleaning it, i noticed that there was a white spot on the back of the of the stove where the buttons are . when i rub my thumb on it, the paint peeled of in my hand. It is located where the steam comes out of the oven, when it is on. I am assuming that it is a manufacture defect. When i called to complain and see what can be done, I was told nothing by one lady and the other said maybe I could paint it. Well needless to say I"m not impressed. As for your products I own 2 Fridges by kenmore, 2 stoves, microwave, dehumidafier, all purchase at sears, and personally think I deserve better. Also if I don't recieve some help with this, I will be taking my business elsewhere.
