With years of involvement with WNSO and FAME I have watched so many people mistreated, left standing on the street with no job, no pay check, bounced pay checks. For years Staff, Photographers, Athletes, Sponsors, Venues, Web designers, Graphic Designers, Magazine Editors, Sales and Marketing, everyone indirectly and directly involved with this Organization have in some way been mistreated, used and abused within the last 10 years of operating as a business.

For years I have heard this is ok there's more people that will come and help, there's more athletes that will come and compete, they have nowhere else to go!
It's time everyone knows that this business is simply a cash grab and any means possible to gather monies from Athletes, Sponsors, Photographers, General Public they will scam. Over 10 years they have thought up every possible source to gain monies from these people.

The list is endless of ways they have scammed monies out of everyone involved or wanting to get involved. To add they made sure that all the above scams to get monies out of athletes and the public are paid in American Funds! Anyone that has been employed has come in not knowing how these people work, they will use everyone that comes into the business and do not care because they think that someone else will fill their shoes tomorrow.

All the recent staff has been let go with no promises of loss wages, unpaid checks, bounced checks. All that was promised is a one year percentage of paying back wages and with nothing signed and refusal to sign any legal documents. After all of the staff was let go and told there was no money to pay them past wages, FAME announced a huge growth, new events and so much more happening soon, a redesigned website. Where did or is all this money going to come from if they just laid everyone off, left there office vacant on Hazelton Lanes and disappeared.

Venues have been left without being paid and promoters for these venues have been left on the hook for the venues.

Photographers supplying this business with athlete photos have been mistreated and used for years, left unpaid for weeks of work.

Media companies have been left unpaid for video coverage of many events, including Vancouvers and Torontos events dating back to 2000, they have never had any media coverage from any well knowns since TSN use to cover their events. The film crews handling all coverage of the events and in turn would edit the coverage for DVDs and TSN were never paid.

Athletes keep going back to this business each year and pay thousands of dollars, yes thousands, some have even gone to their banks and arranged loans just to compete in the yearly FAME Expo, only to be disappointed by lack of media coverage, lack of everything and to find a very disorganized expo. FAME has charged athletes top dollar for entry forms, tickets, drug testing, score sheets, judges reports, and the list is endless. Some athletes were getting loans for 2000.00 plus for a 2 day 2 night event.

Only to find out they didn't receive their pro winnings as promised, thousands of dollars were promised and athletes were told we will send you a check, they didn't receive their trophies and said we will mail it to you, what would you do if you worked for years to compete, spent thousands of dollars to be told we will mail you your winnings and trophy.

It's time people opened there eyes and start asking questions of what this business is all about before entering. Ask an athlete that has competed with them before, Google search everything and look for all information before making any decisions with WNSO, FAME and there many names they operate under.
