I bought a brand new house recently. I contacted the HPO because the house has some deficiency, the HPO guy told me I am a second home owner, and the first year warranty is expired. MLS listing square feet is incorrect. The pad parking missing the cover, the washer is leaking... very poor customer service.

These two houses have the same builder, you need check the house with HPO before buying.
