We purchased a SERTA mattress/box spring thru Mattress Mattress in Calgary, AB which supposedly came with a 10 year warranty. This bed is 2 years old and SERTA nor Mattress Mattress will honour any warranty.

We had the SERTA "technician" come out to look at our bed (9:30pm was the only appt time) and were advised that the mattress was a complete write off due to indentations that significantly exceeded the 1.5" warranty guidelines. Two weeks later when the report finally made it thru to the mattress store our mattress magically no longer had any issues. Instead they offered to replace the box spring. The box spring was absolutely fine according to their tech that night, but of course this would be a cheaper option.

We escalated this situation thru our mattress company to the head of SERTA. We were than offered a new box spring and 100.00 credit towards the purchase of a new SERTA mattress if purchased thru the same location. After having our first mattress replaced after 4 months due to the same issues and thinking it was just a one off problem who in their right mind would ever spend their money to purchase another SERTA!

This is completely ridiculous and unacceptable. I would not deal with either SERTA or Mattress Mattress in the future. After months of arguing and sleepless nights we have now purchased a new bed (not SERTA) thru another merchant at our own cost.
