RVH Construction
False Invoice, Lien, Incomplete Work, Major Deficiencies

Construction & Repair

This has been an absolute and complete nightmare. The project was delayed, full of mistakes and problems - including alleged mental health problems on the part of the builder, etc. But, I persisted and tried to be accommodating. Then, without ever saying word one, the builder delivered an invoice for $16, 000 to my attorney. He fabricated a list of items that he is claiming were outside the contract. In fact, these were things that I was explicitly told were included. The company is in financial trouble and I think we must look like easy targets. We're both women and we're new to the area; new to the country, in fact. His cover materials said that the "contract has been fulfilled" when, in fact, the weather has prevented parging of the foundation and caulking of the siding. In addition, no eavestroughing, specifically included in the contract, has been installed. There are also a lot of costly repairs to be made. It would take me much, much more space than I have here to provide all the information. If you would like to access the blog I have kept on the entire build, contact me through this site. I'm assuming there's a way to do so. But, if you live in New Brunswick and are even remotely contemplating having them do any work for you, stay away. You will regret it. I leveraged everything I had to build my dream home in my new country and now I wish I had never even heard of the place.
