Ok, i placed an order with Cymaxstore on 5/24/08. I spoke with Kevin who also told me he was the weekend supervisor there.. he was such a nice person and seemed very concerned but when i talked to him today, his tone was not as nice, he even laughed at me at one point... this company gave me a bit of a run around today and also i was told i would get a call back from Kevin and never did.

On 5/29/0/8 I had called to cancel my order do to personal reasons and spoke with Holly.. now keep in mind, on there website it states you can cancel no matter what the reason is. Anyway, i s/w Holly and told her my situation and she was very nice and helpful and told me that my order wasn't even placed yet so it did not ship and that my money would be put back on my account the next day or by the next week. I waited three business days and the money was not put back. I called them and got Holly and she said the money was not put back on my account because IT WAS SHIPPED!!! I just found out TODAY that THIS COMPANY CHARGES YOU UP TO 25% RE-STOCKING FEE, CHARGES FOR DELIVERY TO YOUR HOUSE.. WHICH WAS FREE AT FIRST, AND RETURN DELIVERY FEE.. so i have to pay the re-stock fee on an order that cost $728.00 plus twice the shipping.. they still did not tell me how much that will be yet.. but i can do the math and it comes out to about over $150.00 just for the re-stocking fee.. and the shipping fee has to be a lot because they are shipping a heavy L shape desk, hutch and file cabinet. this is going to cost me $300.00 or more.. almost half!!! now i told them how can they charge me for anything when i CANCELLED THE ORDER and was told it was cancelled by Holly. She never even mentioned this re-stocking fee or shipping fee when i cancelled the order.. dont you think that is something that would be VERY important to tell someone. Besides, it was never shipped per Holly when i spoke to her on 5/29/08.. when i s/w Keving today, he said the order went thru on the 26th of may.. now why didn't Holly see that? I AM SO CONFUSED!

So i was directed to the manager Bobby.. once again, he was very nice... its like how can you think they would scam you if there so nice right.. wrong.. it makes no sense to me what they are doing.. i dont even get the procuct and i have to pay nearly half for it. So Bobby pretty much said there is nothing he can do for me.. he has to go by there policy... so i said to him, your policy is to tell a customer your order was cancelled and you will receive a FULL refund to your bank, then tell them we shipped your order instead and we are now charging you a bunch of fee's. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS COMPANY!!! I told them i WILL get ALL of my money back and will fight till i do. I have NEVER EVER expierenced anyting like this with a company.. it is very scary. They make a mistake and make me pay for it. But they are still very nice in doing so. I even asked Bobby to get Holly on the phone and do a three way conversation so he can see she did tell me my order was cancelled and that i will get a refund and he said he could not do that. Have you ever heard of such a thing. I said we can settle this right now, but instead he made me wait and i told him i will not sleep because i have a severe stress disorder.. (i am disabled because of it and i could not handle this kind of stress).. he could have made it done and over with by having her tell him what she told me.. she does admitt to telling me the order was cancelled and wasn't even placed with there manufact. company..

sorry this was so long but i am so upset.. you need to be aware of there hidden policy's.. It can cost you so much. I see other people on this site have been thru similar things when it comes to a refund.. i will fight this with my bank and i will update if this company does the right thing. i hope they will.
