Builder/architect fraudulant paperwork, phony documents, did not pay, lied, crooked, forged signatures, re-created false dates, threatened, Alberta

Small town. Lots of people know each other. New builder/architect comes to town. Seems to have lots of friends or contacts. He found us on a job site. Asked to do his stucco and drywall on a new house. Great, more work.

Finished. Beautiful job. Great color, texture. Lots of positive comments. Time goes by. No pay. More time goes by, still no pay. Job is worth $14, 000CAD. We are a family business. Pa and his five boys. We don't make a whole bunch per year and this is food off our table. I consider it stealing.

We get a lawyer. Put a lien on this guys property. Doesn't help. Lawyer says that the paperwork this guy has given us is fraudulant. Also threat claims were faxed. It is now March 2004. We did the job last summer!

More letters and documents. This time we get falsified contracts and dates, and forged signatures. The lawyers are exchanging these papers back and forth with each other and nothing is progressing. I've had it. I can't take this crap anymore. I ordered the Rip-off Revenge manual. I'll keep you posted on the outcome!
