Incorrect battery installation

Do not go to Canadian Tire to get any (even minor) engine or electrical work done for your car. While some locations do have good mechanics, most of their automotive staff are "learning on the job" types.

My battery died due to age, went to Canadian Tire in Trinity Common Mall (Brampton, Ontario) to get a new one installed. Realized at the shop that there are about a million different battery types/sizes/volts; The attendant was helpful in finding the correct battery. Great thus far. Got it replaced and two weeks later my car's engine light/VSA (ABS) and other electrical issues started popping up. It's an Acura with roughly 200 KMS on, so this is absolutely shocking to me. "Why do I have to be in the 0.099% of honda cars that has faulty manufacturing? " I kept asking myself.

The engine lights were coming on and off, so I did not take it to the mechanic or dealer immediately. Took it to Acura on six weeks after the battery replacement for a computer diagnostics and based on the codes from the diagnostic report, "ALL THE PROBLEMS WERE DUE TO INCORRECT INSTALLATION OF THE BATTERY". Due to this, both my rear VSA (ABS) sensors are fried, the main CPU and the dashboard CPU lost communication. Thank heavens that those CPUs didn't get fried. Otherwise I'd have to run the car through the store windows and leave it there.

In any case, what am I supposed to do now? Get an in-store credit from them? What good will that do me? I am not going to let them touch my car again. Will go and approach the store manager, let's see that s/he has to say. In the meantime, I'm looking at a $2200 bill from the dealer for the sensors.
