Bulk Bagels
False Advertisement

On their drive-thru menu they list 1/2 dozen bulk bagels for $3.49. When I ordered them and got up to the window, they said the total was $4.59. I told them that their menu said $3.49. They said the price was now $4.59. I said, "but your sign says $3.49." They old me that the price had gone up OVER A MONTH AGO but apparently no one had bothered to change the sign. I asked why they won't give it to me for the price they are advertising and they still insisted that I would have to pay the new price. I said, "Isn't that false advertising? " The man at the window (who was wearing a shirt and tie and appeared to be some type of supervisor or manager) stuttered a bit and asked if I would pull over and discuss it. In my opinion, there was nothing to discuss so I said no, forget the bagels, and left. Aren't businesses supposed to honor the pricing that they are presenting??
