Dishonest, lying, ripoff management program

I invested several hundreds of thousands of dollars with Arnold Donzelmann at Leisure RV on his RV management program, in three major investments.

On the first investment (purchased 4 RVs), Arnold lied to me by giving me bogus vehicle VIN numbers that did not exist. Canadian RCMP and Motor Vehicle records computers had no record of such VIN numbers. That was on day #1&he goes to church and talks of God being on my side, then straight out lies to me on day #1. I should have known better.

The first year things were not too bad; Arnold paid some money (earnings) back, more or less in accordance with our original agreement. So I invested two more chunks of money.

It started to become clear that Arnold was not, and could not, keep accurate financial records for his company. All statements that I received from him were hand written, not even done on a spreadsheet. I received one statement per year maximum when I repeatedly asked for it. Often I would have to phone 10 times to get him on the phone.

Things deteriorated, and Arnold really started dodging my phone calls. He did not make payments as promised, even though he had a nice ski boat and new vehicles in his yard.

Eventually he stopped all payments, stopped all phone call returns, and avoided me totally. I contacted the RCMP and started a lawsuit, which resulted in garnisheeing Arnold's personal bank account and his company bank account, and in a writ against his farmland. I have recovered about 2/3 of my money to date.

The RCMP has multiple complaints filed against Arnold Donzelmann, and his credit rating is not good (because of garnishees). He must now run his business out of his wife's bank account, since any money placed into Leisure RV's bank account will be captured by the courts.

Arnold lied to me on Day #1, falsified vehicle VIN numbers, lied about his bank balances available for paying me, and has not acted responsibly in his business dealings with me.

I recommend that you not do business with any RV dealer in Millet Alberta, since he will probably change the company name and resurface as a scam artist again.
