Ripoff latest phone scam takes South Africa for a Caribbean ride

I received a phone call on the 6th May from Imerial Majesty Cruises, and was told that I took part in a holiday survey, my name was chosen, and they gave me a numer, and told me that someone from their company will contact me again. On the 9th May I received another call, asking me for the number they gave me, was then told that we have won a 12 day holiday to Orlando Florida, Fort Lauderdale andt the Bahamas. But both my husband and I must be home for them to confirm it. As my husband was in Australia at that time we agreed that they will phone us again at a later stage when my husband will be back home. On the 12th May we received another call, somebody then explained that our name was chosen and we won this 12 day / 11 night holiday, which include accomodation, car rental, theme park tickets, 2 night cruise to Bahamas. They went through great detail explaining everything, and we were told that we have to pay taxes and insurance because our children are younger than 25. The total amount came to U$998 and they will put us through to somebody else who will verify our credit card detail. We were asked for our credit card details and we were given ref numbers and were told that we will receive all paperword within a month. If then heard from a collegue at word that he also received a similar phone call but he refused to give his credit card detail and the person got all upset with him. An article appeared in a local newspaper on the 6th June 2005, The Star, with the heading Latest phone scam takes South Africans for a Caribbean ride. As it is a lot of money and many people are victims, I would like to report this matter and try and stop this kind of thing happening.
