Need a truck for moving in Toronto? Don't choose U-Haul!!

Looking for a truck for moving in Toronto? If so, do not under any circumstances go with U-Haul in Toronto. We had a big move over the weekend, so getting a truck for moving was important.

We booked our truck for moving several weeks in advance, to ensure our truck for moving would be available. However, when we called a few days before the move, U-Haul in Toronto informed us that we wouldn't get our truck for moving in the morning as we'd scheduled, but much later in the evening.

This was annoying, but considering the time of year, we figured that lots of people needed a truck for moving, so we let it go. HOWEVER, when my fianc went to U-Haul to pick up our truck for moving he found that U-Haul was CLOSED! So he called to see what happened to our truck for moving and they told him that when they switched the pickup time, they'd also switched the location, but forgot to tell him!

So despite having booked our truck for moving in Toronto several weeks ahead of time, we did not receive it! This was the end of the month and we had to be out of our homes on that day. If not for kind landlords and the fact that no one had booked our former residences immediately after, our not getting the truck for moving would have left us.

If you need a truck for moving, be aware that U-Haul in Toronto is not your only option. Check Bristol, Budget, Discount, a neighbour, family, friends or anybody who might possibly have a truck for moving in Toronto. Just DO NOT book with U-Haul. Trust me! Save yourself the headache and misery. When you need a truck for moving, DON'T go with U-Haul in Toronto!
