RDG Careers Job seekers beware! Headhunters are paid to find you, not the other way around

I knew there was something wrong with this company and I wish I had seen this site before going to my "interview"... they called me and acted like I had seeked them out... they also had me sit in a chair opposite my interviewer that was so low I thought it was like a child's chair... make the interviewer feel superior and make the interviewee feel inferior... very tacky... And I was so lucky to hear that of the three people he had interviewed that day I was the only one being invited back!!! how lucky am I?? I mean what bull and how could they believe I was that dumb...
And then I was told it would only cost me $4, 000 for a three year contract for them to introduce me to people... with no guarantee of a job... When I asked for literature on the company and their programs and fee structures I was told that would come later...

My atennae was up all the time I was there and then relieved to see that others had the same stories.
Talked to one of my friends who is a Headhunter and he howled at this story and said this is not the way it is done... companies pay headhunters to find the right employee... employees DO NOT pay headhunters to find them a job.
