Buy out offer on treadmill

SEARS treadmill repair decided that my treadmill under a maintenance agreement was unrepairable after 5 service calls and $800 of parts mostly to fix problems they created by their incorrect wiring on 6 circuit boards. They refunded me the balance of my maintenance agreement and said I would receive a buyout offer. At that time the only outstanding issue was a new problem with the slope adjustment.

After many phone calls over a 3 week period I was told the treadmill had no value due to it's age. I asked them to return the treadmill and I could live with the outstanding problem. They could not locate my treadmill and offer me $100 which I reluctantly accepted.

My complaint is that from early June to Sept. I had no treadmill and had to put up with long delays for 5 service calls and multiple mis-imformation before being told that my tredmill was worth nothing due to each age. Why did they solict and extention to my service ageement if it was too old? Nice people but terrible service.
