Trenton Fraud occuring to innocent Durham Region Homeowners

Steve Brown has been advertising in the Whitby/Oshawa/Clarington newspaper since January 2007. His pricing is aggressive so that he is sucking us in, getting $1000 and higher deposits for harwood flooring, promising to deliver & install but will never fulfill his contract obligations or only partially.

He is now being reported to the Durham Region Police for fraud and an investigation has started. If you have been ripped off then call Durham Regional and give your details to the Fraud section. A constable has been assigned as of last week. Call (905) 579-1520 Ext. 6850

Some of us and I know of 4 people are asking the advertising manager at Metroland to stop his weekly advertising.

We have been in contact with one of his flooring suppliers with regards to stoping him from continuing his fraud tactics as well.

We are pursuing criminal charges as Small Claims Court is simply paying good money after bad at this point.

I too have been ripped off ... $2000.00 down payment on a $4200.00 job.
