If it sounds to good to be true... IT IS

I got a letter in the mail from BRITISH RANDOM LOTTO. Inside the envelope, with the letter, was a check. This check was so authentic and for $2996.80. As I read the letter the thought came to me, if something sounds to good to be true, it normally is. The letter was explaining how I had been chosen through a computer ballot system draw from 1, 500, 000 people. In the letter, the check was called the Assistance check. It was for International clearance fees. I was to deposit that check and send them a check for $2847.00.

Then I would receive the $80, 199.00 that I had won in this Lottery scam. The content of the letter seems so legitimate, there was a name of an agent I was to call to begin my lotter claim. I can understand how someone could fall for this. Although for me, a red flag went up and I got online and started investigating and as I thought, it was a scam. People beware, do some research before falling for something that sounds too good to be true.
