Universal Lottery Promotions The are using another name to Rip You Off-Thanks to this site I didn't fall Ripoff

I recieved a letter in the mail with a check for $2950.00. The check looked real enough with an actual bank logo, check number and title information.
The letter however was a little off. It looked as though it was printed up on a random home computer. The award letter gives a claim number an advises that you are a winner in a computer ballot system drawing from 8, 000, 000 people from Asia, Europe, North America, and South America. It claims that you have won 65, 000.00 and that the check inclosed is to be used to finance international clearance fees. When you call the number the agent askes you for additional money to help cover processing fees and if you don't have it refers you to a finacial department to barrow the money.

The agency is Hanson Finacial Management Group. Now I know enough that if I won an actual lottery I should only be paying taxes on what I win not on processing and clearance fees. Also last I checked you can't play international lotteries.

If it wasn't for this site I would have never known that these people had used another name which was Universal Lottery. Thankfully I'm not one to fall to quickly for something like this, basically because it would be to good to be true but people in desprite need may just get caught up in this scam.

So to everyone out there beware!!
