I received a cashiers check for $2900.00 they say as arranged with our Client care Rep.which is a percentage surcharge required to be paid for the processing and surcharges associated with the disbursements of your funds to you. They say I won a Lottery for $100, 000.
Following the second and final notification that was sent to me, they have secured for me through one of their financial sponsors, the required amount you need to pay for all the service charges, involving my recent winning notificatiion, saving me the trouble of trying to raise the necessary amount required. They say a one time Bank Draft Payment or remittance will be made to me or my account within 72 hr. the official time line legally required for settlements.

It says I should call my account manager as soon as I receive this letter and, he or she will be able to assist me in finalizing the payment and claim process.
If not processed and comleted on or before Jan.30 2006 we shall assume this fund as unclaimed and shall automatically null and void all process and claims. Galaxy Management shall not be held responsible should mhy file be voided and all claims stopped after the due date.

The Cashiers Check looks real and comes from UniBank For Savings 49 Church Street, Whitinsville, MA 01588
Is this a scam??? Why would they send me a check for $2900.00??

Anything to good to be true usually is, but I would hate for someone elderly get taken for whatever their after. Please let me know if there are any complaints about this Company and Lottery. Thank you so much for this site.
