Rogers Contract Scam Beware

Hello my American counterparts. It seems RogersAT&T rips off Canadians just as surly as they will steel from you. Beware of Rogers AT&T contract scam. It could cost you thousands! I signed a 2 year contract with them. Got behind in my payments. Everything was fine, it was only a few hundred dollars. I phoned them to have my services reduced until I could get my balance paid off.

They wouldn't allow me to make any changes until the previous balance was paid. I couldn't afford to pay it down at the time and before i knew it i received a bill in the mail for 1300.00 dollars. I called them and they said they would cancel my contract for an additional 200 dollars. As far as i understand, that equals 1500.00 dollars.

Then i get another bill for a whooping 2000.00 dollars. Not sure where the additional 500.00 came from though. They say it was administration costs. These Bastards had no intrest in discussing the matter and expect the balance in full immediatly, otherwise it goes to collections. I am being held hostage for an extreme amount of money for a service I diden't even get to use, because you see, I haden't used my phone for at least a year. Thats right!

A Bloody year, because the one they sold me upon initiation of the contract did not work! Why diden't I get a new one you ask? Fair enough. They wouldn't allow me to access their network until I paid down my balance. So, here I am trying to come up with a 2000.00 dollars to pay for a service I never received. Be very careful. There is no need to sign a contract with these assholes.
I will never do buisinuss with them again!
